How to become a Video Designer

How to become a Video Designer

Many colleges and universities offer degrees in digital film and video production with concentrations in theatrical design. Those starting out should practice their video shooting and editing skills as much as possible in order to build a strong portfolio. Students should also attempt to design or assist in the collaboration of the productions at their university—especially when film elements are involved. Post-graduation, most aspiring video designers will seek internships or apprenticeships with successful individuals in the field of videography.
